2021 Sidewinder
What does Sidewinder bring to mind for you? A venomous viper, a reformed super villain from the comics, Budd’s code name in Kill
Bill, or perhaps a local mountain biking trail? If I have done my job, this black beauty from the Snake River Valley will be at the top of the list the next time you hear sidewinder.
The 2019 Sidewinder is a classic Idaho Syrah, with loads of smoky meat aromas and dark cherry, cranberry and pomegranate fruit. The tannins provide sturdy structure, but are not overwhelming. The bright acidity on this wine makes it very food friendly.
